This server is called CivilizationCraft and it is made for people who like strategy and planning instead of quick games. It just launched and it is meant to last a long time not reset all the time. It is inspired by the Civilization game series so every choice matters a lot.
You can found cities and grow them into full empires. When your city grows your borders grow too and your culture spreads across the land. Where you place your cities and how you expand your territory really matters here.
There is a custom technology tree and a civic tree. You research different technologies to unlock new buildings and strong buffs and different ways to progress. It feels like you are playing a strategy game inside Minecraft instead of normal survival.
This is not a factions server and not normal vanilla SMP. It is for players who enjoy long term strategy city builder games and grand strategy style gameplay. People who like diplomacy and empire development will probably like this server a lot.

This server is a civilization event that runs in seasons and every season has a new twist. Season 4 is based on Maze Runner and that makes it feel really intense.
Players split into different teams and fight to see which civilization can win. It is all about teaming up and battling other groups in a new world. There will be new teams and new battles when the season starts.
The server runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.8 and uses proximity voice chat so you can actually hear people only when they are close to you in game. That makes the gameplay feel way more real and scary during fights.
