I found a server called Split SMP that runs big civilization events. They do a new twist every month or two and it pulls in a lot of players.
This season is Season 4 and it is Maze Runner inspired. Everyone gets split into four teams and the whole event runs for 7 days.
A bunch of people already applied and it is starting soon. You can also add the owner if you need to reach them.

About the Server
Ages of Shengai is a big Minecraft server with a cool custom world. It has many biomes, huge builds, and fun events. Players can join in on community quests, survival fun, and PvP fights.
There will be a Civilization event where players make teams, build towns, trade, and fight for land. When not in events, players can chill and enjoy survival or take part in mini-events.
They are looking for players and staff to help grow the community before launch.
