WorldBound SMP is a serious geopolitics survival server where players make nations and try to grow them into real empires.
It runs on Java and Bedrock so more people can play together. The world is a big Earth map made with real satellite imagery so the mountains rivers and coastlines look like the real world.
Players build cities and castles then form alliances or start rivalries. Wars can break out and territory can change hands. There is also economy and trade routes and a lot of the fun is diplomacy and global politics made by the players.
It feels like history class but you are the one writing it.

Zest Creative is mainly a city build server with a big custom terrain world and a tight knit active community. People join to build together and make the map look awesome over time.
You start by joining the discord first and doing a short application. It is mostly there to keep griefers out. After that you can get access to WorldEdit and other helpful commands.
There is optional geopolitical roleplay with lore and worldbuilding. You can mark a claim and it gets shown on the map so you can start your own story. You can also mark towns and settlements. If you do not want roleplay you can just build and chill.
