I found this server that feels really old school and super cozy. It has a PvE world a Creative world and a Snapshot server. The whole place is mostly vanilla and it is all about chill gameplay and building with other people.
On the PvE server you play survival without any pvp. You only fight mobs and not other players. People like to team up build towns and even full cities. They reset the PvE map not that long ago so there is still room for fresh bases. There are regular game nights on Friday and Saturday with stuff like spleef thimble and ice boat races so it never feels boring.
The Creative server is for people who just want to build. The map is a mix of natural and custom terrain. You can protect your builds and you can use WorldEdit for free if you want.
