Ordinary SMP is a vanilla Java survival server that feels like a small town. The community is tight and people actually talk and build together. It is whitelisted so the players are usually chill and respectful.
The server is always updated and right now it is running version 1.21.10. It stays close to vanilla but still has some cool extras so it does not feel boring.
There is grief protection so your base and builds are kept safe from troublemakers. You can relax and work on big projects without worrying that everything gets ruined.
The server uses BlueMap so you can look at the world with a live map. There is Simple VoiceChat so you can talk in game and AudioPlayer for custom audio which makes the world feel more alive.
They also have dragon elytra drops so beating the dragon feels more rewarding. There is a custom resource pack with special cosmetics trophies and event rewards. The style is kind of like HermitCraft and they like hearing ideas for new custom items.
The players run server wide events like pvp battles build contests and big community builds. If you like building exploring redstone or just chilling with other people this server fits all of that.
Overall it feels like a friendly long term SMP where you can join a steady group and slowly become part of the world.
