    The Garden SMP is a Java 1.21.11 survival server that mixes towny roleplay with worldbuilding and adventure. It is open to join and it feels new player friendly.

    Players make towns and nations in the overworld and then go on bigger adventures in other dimensions. A lot of the fun comes from building stories together and doing roleplay while you expand your place.

    You can protect your builds with Towny and run chest shops to sell stuff without a forced economy. There is also a Devotions system where you can be a priest or cultist or a devoted worshipper and get rewarded for your piety. Multiverse lets you explore your gods realm and there are a bunch of quality of life features too.

    The vibe is meant to be relaxed with optional challenges if you want them. The server says it has no pay to win and it is run as a passion project with active attentive staff and a small thriving community.

    This is a community centered Java server on 1.21.11 that just launched a new season about a week ago. Season 2 started March 13th and it has been busy with lots of new and returning players.

    The big focus is a player driven economy with chest shops and mcmmo. The gameplay is built around player interaction and community based play. People are encouraged to use proximity chat and to live near others in one of the server communities.

    It is whitelisted and it is 18 plus only. The Discord is large and the server usually sits around 30 to 40 players so there are plenty of people to meet.

    PvP is toggleable so you can chill and build or you can fight when you want. There is also land claim so your builds can stay safe.

    The economy is player driven with chest shops. You can also do jobs and quests. There are playtime rewards and ranks too.

    The world is meant to last so what gets built is expected to remain for the foreseeable future. It is mostly aimed at builders and creative people but there will be a PvP arena for players who want battles. Everyone is welcome as long as you are respectful.

    I found a Cobblemon server that runs on a custom modpack with tons of extra addons. It feels like it is built for people who want a lot of Cobblemon stuff in one place.

    The community is active and people actually talk and play together. They run regular tournaments and games so there is usually something going on.

    I found an SMP that just expanded the world size from 6000 by 6000 to 9000 by 9000. There is a server wide medieval castle event happening right now so it feels like everyone has something to work on together.

    It is not pure vanilla. It has player jobs plus a shop and economy. There are player warps and player chest shops so trading and traveling is a big part of the server.

    They also built a brand new spawn and switched server locations. Bedrock players can join too.

    There is Animal Hunger for raising livestock for harvest and Devotions where you can be a priest cultist or devote worshipper and get rewards for piety. Multiverse lets players explore their gods realm. The server is meant to be relaxed with optional challenges and it says there is no pay to win.
