This server is a chill mine mine no mi modpack world that some friends started and they want more people to join and just hang out and play.
It is faction based so players group up and make their own rules for fighting and teaming. There is both pvp and pve but it is not an anarchy server so it is not total chaos.
The whole vibe is casual and friendly. It feels like a place where you can meet new people and maybe make some new friends while messing around with the modpack and having small faction fights.

Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on version 1.20.1 that is made for builders collectors and chill players who like long term worlds that do not reset.
The server has a bunch of builder friendly mods so people can make detailed bases and cute towns. There are also tons of farming mods so you can grow crops cook food and complete meals to earn in game currency.
If you like collecting stuff there is a custom FTB Quests setup that helps you go after different items and rewards you while you learn new mods.

Jalacraft is a chill survival world that is made for people who like to create content and tell stories. It is an SMP that feels like a long term project and not just a quick map.
The server has a fully custom SMP setup with player driven storylines. There are events lore challenges and collabs so it feels like a world that is always moving forward when people are online.

SmokeyMC is a towny style SMP where players build towns and decide if they want peace or war with other towns. It feels like a survival world but with extra features that make towns and battles matter.

The Loft is a semi vanilla survival server that has been running for almost four months. It is made for adults only so everyone is at least 18 and the vibe feels more mature and chill. The server runs on version 1.21.9 and sits on USA central time.
The gameplay is mainly survival with a few quality of life plugins. There is stuff like treefeller and essentials plus protection tools like coreprotect and a world map with bluemap. It still feels close to normal Minecraft but with some extras that make life easier and safer.
The community is focused on being kind and respectful. There is no griefing or stealing allowed and pranks have to be consensual and not super destructive. I have been playing on this server for a couple days and it is actually really fun.
It has survival and it also has skyblock and both feel super cool. You can just hop on and build for a few hours or stay longer and keep working on your base or island.
The server feels pretty small but in a good way because you start to see the same people a lot. The staff and the players are really nice and helpful and it does not feel toxic at all.
If you want a place that is simple and chill with survival and skyblock together this server is honestly awesome.

EchelonMC is a survival server that tries to stay simple and clean while still feeling new. It runs on a normal Minecraft install so you do not have to download mods or extra clients. Most things are made to feel like normal survival so it does not get confusing.
The server is built around the community. Players can use a suggestion system in game to share ideas and those ideas are checked a lot. The whole project changes based on what players think so it feels like the community is building the server together.
EchelonMC is focused on survival and does not try to change the main loop of the game. Nothing is super overpowered and the world acts how you expect. They even turned off Endermen block pickup so your builds stay safe.
There are some cool systems like a command controller that only shows commands you can actually use and NPCs at spawn that explain features and help you get around. WhimsyWillow SMP is a semi vanilla server that feels pretty cozy and small. It has a chill community and people seem actually nice. The server is still pretty fresh so there is a lot of space to explore and build.
The terrain generation looks really cool and there are over 100 biomes so it feels like you always find something new. The world border keeps expanding so there are always new places to discover.
You can play with optional origins if you want a little extra twist or you can just stay normal survival if that is more your thing. It still feels like classic Minecraft but with some extra fun.
There are rules against griefing and some other basic rules so it feels like a safe place. You can relax and build whatever you want without worrying about people ruining it.

So I found this server called Misty Pines SMP and it has a really cool idea
The owner is a solo dev named Red and they added a small update that feels like it should just be in normal Minecraft
On this server you can repair anvils kind of like how you fix iron golems You just use ingots to repair them instead of letting them break forever
The server is survival and feels like a chill place to play and mess around with friends or just on your own
If you are tired of your anvils shattering all the time this server makes that way less annoying while still keeping it survival

This is a chill whitelist survival server that feels like a big friend group. It runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 and is Java only. There are usually a few people on all day and a bigger group of regular players who come back a lot.
The main thing that stands out is proximity voice chat. You can talk to people who are near you in game which makes exploring and building way more fun. The voice mod is optional so you can still play if you do not want to install it.
