I found a more vanilla server that uses an Earth map and it feels like it is all about people making groups and nations.
There are no towny style plugins and there is no economy stuff running the game. Claims are handled through Discord and there is also a separate world map that shows claims but it is not dynmap.
If you like joining up with other players and helping build a nation then this one is looking for more people.
Rosedalean SMP is an 18+ Java survival server on version 1.21.11 and it feels like enhanced vanilla. It fits both casual players and hardcore players so you can build a huge base mine for hours or just make a small cozy house.
The server uses add ons so you do not need to install complicated mods. You join with a normal game launch and then you go through an interview and approval process. This is there to keep out trolls and griefers so the place stays friendly.
There are community run events and factions you can join or make. There is also a shopping district where players trade goods. Extra stuff includes simple voice chat Terralith biomes for exploring a ticket system for help a BlueMap to view the world and weekly game nights every Sunday. They also take suggestions from the community.
Swift SMP is a semi vanilla survival server with pvp on. It is built to feel like normal Minecraft but with quality of life plugins and events that make it more fun without killing the vanilla vibe.
A new season is about to start and the staff are still picking the final plugins and getting things ready. If you like being there for day one of a fresh map and you want a server where people actually play daily this one is trying to be that kind of place.
SableCraft is a small semi vanilla survival SMP that is made for the long run. It is meant for people who want a world that does not keep getting wiped and restarted all the time.
The vibe is chill and respectful and it is trying to build a tight community from the very start. Builders casual players and creators are all welcome.
It is not pay to win and it is not anarchy. The goal is no drama and a community driven direction right from day 1. The server launch is coming soon and players can apply for season 1.
Flaws Skygen is an OP kit PvP skygen realm with a fresh season and a new grind
It is all about getting in and grinding then trying to dominate in competitive fights
You join through Minecraft Realms and jump right into the action
I found WBPVP which is a Java server running on 1.21.11 and it is focused on 1.9 style PvP.
It has normal gamemodes and the main new thing is Water Bucket PVP. You fight on a floating island and try to knock the other player off like sumo.
The twist is you can water bucket clutch and come back up so the fights can get wild and clutchy. It feels like a simple idea but it turns into lots of quick saves and comebacks.
Rosedalean is an 18+ Java SMP on 1.21.11. It is enhanced vanilla survival so it still feels like Minecraft but with extra stuff added in.

Rai Nation is a session based nations server that runs on Wednesdays Friday Saturday and Sunday. It feels good for players who do not want to log in every day and still keep up.
The main thing here is nation and player interactions. People focus on building up their places and doing diplomacy. War can happen but it is meant to be rare and a big deal. The rules are set up so your work is protected and offline raiding is not the vibe.
There is a merchants village where players trade credits for lots of stuff like enchants and building blocks. Sometimes events happen there too.
The world also has lore and mystery with Unknown entities. In season one Unknown was the main enemy and later it split into five fragments that can show up during sessions. It can turn into combat jump scares or weird dealing so it keeps things unpredictable.
The server works for both Java and Bedrock players and there is a steady community so you usually have someone around to trade with or talk to.
SableCraft is a small semi vanilla SMP that is trying to be long term and not one of those servers that resets all the time. It is made for people who want to start from the beginning and actually stay.
The vibe is chill and respectful. Builders casual players and creators are all welcome. The server is not pay to win and it is not anarchy. It is also trying to avoid drama.
From day 1 the direction is meant to be community driven. There is a season 1 application and they are also taking optional staff applications. Launch is coming soon so people are getting ready now.
