Ordinary SMP is a vanilla survival server that feels like a small friendly town. It is a Java server and they stay updated to version 1.21.11 so you get all the new stuff in Minecraft.
The server is whitelisted so the players are picked to keep the community respectful and chill. People here like to build cool bases explore together and work on community projects. It feels like everyone wants a long term home not just a place to grief and leave.
They use tools to watch for griefing and theft so builds are protected and you can relax while you play. There is a live world map with BlueMap so you can see the world from your browser and plan where to travel or build.
The server has Simple VoiceChat so you can talk with other players in game and AudioPlayer for custom audio. They also have dragon elytra drops so beating the dragon is extra rewarding.
There is a custom resource pack with special cosmetics trophies and event rewards and the vibe is kind of like HermitCraft. Players can even suggest ideas for more custom items.
They do server wide events like pvp fights build contests and huge community projects so there is usually something going on. If you like building exploring redstone or just hanging out on a survival world this server fits that style.

This server is a brand new world with a small group of adult players. Around ten people are usually active at the busiest times and they are still getting settled in. The whole vibe feels really chill and relaxed so it is not sweaty or try hard.
The world is still early. The Nether and the End have not been entered yet. So if you like starting fresh with other people this is pretty cool. They plan to build a nether hub and a shopping district later and also do community events once things are more established.
There are regenerating loot chests that work per player. That means everyone gets a chance to loot stuff instead of racing for it. It sounds fair for new players who join later.
Only adults can join. Both Bedrock and Java players are allowed. The community seems a bit bigger on chat than actually in game so there is room for new people to jump in and be part of the main group.
