FoxCraft SMP is a survival server where Java and Bedrock players can actually play together in the same world. It runs on Fabric and uses special tech so Bedrock can join which is pretty cool.
The server is mostly chill survival and is made for long term worlds and big projects. It has custom terrain so the world looks different from normal Minecraft and you can explore new looking biomes. There are also custom mechanics and some small changes that help with quality of life and keep the game feeling fresh.

EchelonMC is a simple survival server that tries to stay close to normal Minecraft. It runs on Java Paper 1.21.10 and you can join with a regular Minecraft install so you do not need any mods or extra downloads.
The server is built to feel clean and familiar. There are not a bunch of confusing menus or giant command lists. You just play survival and the extra systems quietly make things smoother. Even Endermen cannot pick up blocks so your builds stay safe.
At spawn there are interactive NPCs that explain the server and show you how things work. There is also a wilderness NPC that can teleport you into a random area so you can start a base away from others.
The server has a command controller that only shows the commands you can actually use so it feels less overwhelming. There is a Discord chat bridge so messages can go between the game and Discord automatically.

SmokeyMC is a towny style SMP server where you can start your own town or join one that already exists. It is all about building up a community and deciding if your town will be peaceful or go to war with others.
The server has playtime based ranks and jobs so the more you play the more you unlock. There is MCMMO so your skills and progression actually matter as you keep grinding.

Sovereign SMP is on Season 6 and it feels like a small HermitCraft style world where everyone actually talks to each other and builds cool stuff.
The server is basically vanilla but it has a few plugins just so it runs smooth. Players use diamonds as money and there are shops plus community builds and games so you are not just stuck mining alone.
The community is very LGBTQIA plus friendly and they really push for a fun and welcoming vibe so new players can fit in fast. There are people from all over the world and all kinds of Minecrafters like builders and redstone people and explorers.

I found this Minecraft host called KingsDomain and it is actually free and not trash. The default plan gives 3 GB RAM 25 GB SSD and 200 percent CPU which is kind of crazy for a free plan.
The cool part is the server stays online all the time. There are no forced ads no shutdown timer and no weird queue stuff. So it feels like a real 24 7 server and not some fake free thing.
They also have a coin system where you can upgrade your server without using real money. You just grab coins from links that refresh every hour and then you can get more RAM CPU or storage.

This server is made for people who want a long term world with no grief and no resets. The goal is to keep the world going for many years so you can work on big projects and also take breaks without losing your stuff.
The main survival world is almost pure vanilla but it has claims a map player markets clans fishing contests and some teleport features. I found this new Minecraft world that just opened like two days ago and it already feels pretty cozy. The server is for players who are 18 or older and everyone is really chill and friendly. People seem laid back and creative and just want to build stuff and have fun together.

This server is called Cobblemon Eterna and it is being built from scratch right now. It is all about Cobblemon and a big long term project.
The world is based on Kanto and Johto and the regions are being hand made instead of random terrain. There will be an RPG style story with quests NPCs and lore so it feels like a real adventure.
The server is also making a custom ranked PvP system called the Zenith League. It uses Elo and divisions and has weekly champions so players who like battling can really try hard and climb.

This is a server called Ascend SMP and it is all about simple survival.
There is no griefing allowed so your builds should be safe if you get whitelisted.
The world feels pretty new and the owner says it is semi new and there are basically no rules besides the no griefing part.
