Overview We are a longstanding SMP with currently over a dozen active players and we are looking for more! Our main guideline is to leave the “meta” of pure Vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server). The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are: GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops for trading. Everything on the map was built and farmed in survival. No warps, you have to walk, fly by Elytra, or set up infrastructure such as piston bolts or blue ice highways. The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Megabases welcome. Leave for months, pick right up where you left. Specs & Plugins Hosted in Germany with 128GB Ram, a Intel i9-9900k, and 1TB NVMe SSD; the server runs on Paper. For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. Additionally, we have some datapacks and tweaks like Ghasts don’t break blocks, craftable Enchanted Golden Apples, and more. FAQ:
1. Is there a minimum age limit to join the server?
Yes, the server is 18+ only. Please be 18 or older to join.
2. Are there any donation perks or advantages for paying real money?
No, there are no donation perks or advantages. You cannot buy “power” for real money on this server.
3. Can players trade with each other on the server?
Yes, player trading via signs is allowed. There are no admin shops on the server.
4. Are there any warps or /tpa commands available on the server?
No, there are no warps or /tpa commands available. Players have to walk or set up infrastructure for travel.
5. Will the world ever reset on the server?
No, the world will never reset on the server. Players can focus on long term projects without worrying about losing progress.
6. Can players protect their builds on the server?
Yes, players can protect their areas using the GriefPrevention plugin with a golden shovel to claim and protect their builds.
7. Is there a community on the server for players to interact with?
Yes, there is a close-knit community on the server with events, help from staff and other players, and a Hermitcraft-like shop area for trading.

The AussieSMP is an Australian hosted Survival server with a small community of players from around the world. The server is a whitelisted application-based server, if you would like to join you will need to use the link above. This is put in place so that players feel safe that their builds will remain intact and that we don’t have anyone who won’t fit in to the culture on the server. That being said we are always looking for new members and you are welcome to apply at any time!
The gameplay is mostly vanilla with some extra quality of life features like teleports, features that promote player trading and methods to protect from griefing.
If you are wanting to have a ‘pure vanilla’ experience, this server probably won’t be for you as it has some teleport commands and an economy backed by diamonds, but if you’re interested in that, then this server might be a good choice for you (and your friends!).
The server is hosted in Sydney, Australia, meaning if you are in Australia or New Zealand you’ll have a low latency to the server. If you are from somewhere else in the world you are also welcome to join us, just keep in mind that your latency might be a bit higher than the rest of the people on the server and players might not be active while you are on because of timezone differences.
Features:
- The server is running the latest version so you can enjoy all the new features of the most recent update of Minecraft.
- Many other survival servers modify various game mechanics, one of the main aims of this server is to not change too much of the Vanilla mechanics such as how entities act, villagers, terrain generation etc.
- A decently sized shopping area that is filled with player created shops that promotes a feeling of community and helps players easily trade between each other. Players use diamonds as currency within these shops to trade for other items/blocks.
- Getting out of spawn and into new lands is easy with the use of a random teleport command which can be accessed by right-clicking the NPC at spawn or by typing /rtp…
