Server background:Once upon a time, I also looked through dozens of servers in search of “The One,” but after weeks of searching, I realized one simple thing – the ideal server does not exist. Somewhere there was terribly low rendering, somewhere there were too many gameplay restrictions, somewhere it was simply unpleasant to play because of the terrible community. It was then that I decided to make a server where I personally would be comfortable playing. So 4 years ago Vanilla appeared, which was hosted for 300 rubles.
I played here alone for a week, after which I decided to add a server for monitoring. I didn’t count on any popularity or earnings from the server. No, I was just hoping that a few people would come in to brighten up my leisure time by playing together. As you can see, 4 years have passed since that moment, the server has greatly changed for the better, a whole administration team has appeared and many new and interesting people play here. That says something, doesn’t it?
What I managed to achieve in these 4 years:
During this time, the server was made as convenient as possible, understandable, pleasing to the eye, and ultimately interesting. With the advent of a more or less large online presence on the server, a system of minimum prices was invented. Now they have begun to use it on many servers, but initially it appeared here. I never liked wipes, which is why a system for switching to new versions was invented that allows you to avoid them in 90% of cases. If, due to global updates to the world, wipe cannot be avoided, then I simply move the buildings of those who wish. Do you know about the data pack of 1200 achievements? Usually no one bothers with manual translation and just put a datapack with translation on the server, but I went a little further. That’s why the server now has a bunch of manually translated achievements, including jokes and local memes. In addition, now you don’t need to download the datapack and wait extra seconds when logging in and out of the server. It’s a small thing, but it’s nice. Unfortunately, the vanilla gameplay gets boring very quickly. It is for this reason that the server has a system of Easter eggs and tasks that can take up a good ten hours of time. Are the caustic colors in the general design of the servers annoying? That includes me too, so everything here is very minimalist and neatly decorated
Support for popular mods:
PlasmoVoice – voice chat. Installation instructions are available on the server using the command /voiceEmoteCraft – emotions, as on the bedrock version of the game. Installation instructions are available on the server using the /emotes command. Well, yes, the server works on phones, the ip is the same, but without the .mc prefix
Answers to frequently asked questions:
Why are there privates on the server?
Nowadays everyone loves to roll back broken buildings using the CoreProtect plugin, don’t they? – People began to fight not with the cause, but with the consequence. For what reason should you and I waste time on griefing rollbacks if we can nip it in the bud?
Why is there currency on the server?
Of course, you can go back to the origins of economic relations and use barter, but for what purpose? Nowadays we obtain currency through the sale of hard-to-extract resources, the price of which changes periodically. We do not tie the currency to one single resource (usually it is tied to diamonds), and we also do not allow inflation through minimum prices for valuables.
Why is there a teleport here?
I asked myself this question a year ago and first tried to make them paid, thinking that this would diversify the gameplay. You should have seen the players’ reaction to this action)) We all unanimously came to the conclusion that the teleport DRAFTLY reduces time wasted on the most banal things and people simply do not want to spend several hours a day traveling on boats around the hub, although I am sure that this is incredibly interesting (no)
Hardware, optimization:
It would be nice to spend only 300 rubles a month, like when the server was created, but it doesn’t work that way anymore π
| You can describe everything in one sentence “I would like a PC like this at home…”, and more specifically, now the server is on a dedicated server with an i9-9900k, 128Gb RAM and 2TB SSD
| During the existence of the server, I climbed in and configured ALL the configs, so you don’t have to worry about this, everything works like a clock.
