Teleportation – You are able to teleport to a few warps ^{/warp, /warp}spawn ^/spawna private home location set by you ^{/home, /home}and other players if they accept ^/tpa.

We are primarily an English-speaking server, although we accept all people who speak different languages. The roots of the server used to be Argentine so a lot of old books or documents are written in Spanish.

The server is International so we have people from the USA, Argentina, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, UK, and many more.

The Basics: There are civilizations of all different kinds, with different cultures, religions, and government structures, and as such they have conflicts, but most importantly politics!

A lot of stuff has happened recently, is happening currently, and happened ages ago. Countries collapsing, new countries rising in power, death… and of course the repeating of history – good and bad. In general, we find ourselves to be a pretty fun and chill community – in and out of roleplay!

Warning: We are not looking for people who just PVP and don’t roleplay or interact politically. PVP and wars are the icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

We also like to goof around and just hang out on our Discord server and talk. The server is always active in the discord and generally discusses a wide range of topics both in RP and out of character.

Technical side: Generally, we stray from having a large number of plugins, so everything added is QOL (Quality of life) or enhances RP to an extreme level (Such as the map painting plugin).

There is a generation from back in 1.13 as the server is over 4 years old.

Basic Rules: The basic server rules are simple and standard, but we take them very seriously:

Application: To apply for the server, you need to have an interview with one of its members. MCSugars is a survival multiplayer server with lots of features including a diamond economy (/deposit or /withdraw). Duality SMP is a survival multiplayer server similar to Hermitcraft in spirit: mostly vanilla with a few quality of life plug-ins; small and friendly community; group events / teamwork; shopping district, etc. We are community-run — major decisions, plugins/datapacks, updates, events, and server software are decided together, transparently. Admins have the same rank and voice as other Duality members.

We will be on 1.20.4 for Season 5!

In order to cultivate the best community we can, we collect and screen applications for new Dwellers, then decide together who to add to the whitelist for the next season.

We are entering our 5th season soon and will be performing a world-reset on July 1st, 2024 – on a fresh world – we’d love for you to join! Especially if you are trustworthy and work well in a team. Our players have a lot of freedom and we essentially use an honor system.

In the meantime we have a public SMP available for anyone to join! We are using a very similar setup to Hermitcraft Season 10, with a fabric server, the Simple Voice Chat mod, armor stands, vanillatweaks datapacks, etc. You only need a vanilla 1.20.4 minecraft client to join, but we also allow fabric modded clients with stuff like Litematica and MiniHUD.
