This is a vanilla style server where people play survival but still get some quality of life stuff. You can talk with proximity voice so it feels more like hanging out in a small town. There are invisible item frames custom music discs custom images and poseable armor stands so builds can look really cool.
The community feels a lot like a Hermitcraft style SMP. There is a diamond based economy a nether roof hub and a shopping district where anyone can set up a shop. Players build big redstone machines and huge projects because there are no limits on that.
Most things on the server are decided by the community. They only add or change stuff after talking with everyone so people feel like they have a say. The goal is to give you the freedom of single player but with other people around so you are not alone.
There are usually a good amount of players online in the day and a bigger group hanging out in the discord. The server runs on the latest Minecraft version so it stays up to date.
