Bleeding Heart SMP is a hardcore survival server where death actually matters but it still turns into stories instead of everyone quitting. It is not pay to win and it is not scripted so most stuff happens because players make it happen.
When someone dies their player head drops. Friends can grab it and build a Revival Shrine to bring them back. But enemies can keep that head locked up so the players end up deciding who stays dead. That leads to trading bluffing betrayals and sometimes straight up assassinations.
The world is huge with a 30 million by 30 million border and it is a no reset world so joining early is a big deal. The Farlands are enabled too and you can actually walk to them if you go far enough.
Crystal PvP is banned and there is only one mace on the whole server so whoever has it is going to be a big deal. It runs on Java 1.21.11 using Fabric.
