So I found this new server called GeoSMP and it is a vanilla Earth style world. It is really new and the owners worked super hard on it so it feels really balanced and fun.
Right now they just want more players of all ages to join and help grow the community. It is a nice place if you want a fresh start on a server that could turn into something big.
There are no crazy extra features. It is mainly simple vanilla gameplay on an Earth map so you can just play and relax and slowly build up with other people.

Ruby SMP is a towny survival server that is all about nations politics and pvp. It is not just a simple smp world because players build towns and nations and fight over land.
On this server you can start your own town or join someone else and rise up inside a nation. You control land and expand borders and manage resources. People make alliances and plan strategies instead of just grinding alone.
Pvp and warfare are a big part of Ruby SMP. Nations fight in wars and there are territory battles and planned pvp events. Fights actually matter because every war has consequences for the world and for the people involved.
Ruby SMP also has a culture system that gives each nation its own identity. There is a contracts system too so you can make real alliances trade deals and treaties between nations.
The staff listens to player feedback and uses it when they change rules or plan new seasons. They say the pvp is balanced and there is no pay to win and the staff is active. The world rules and seasons change over time so the server keeps feeling fresh.

HarmonyMC is a survival smp that feels different from the usual servers I see.
The server is focused on custom plugins that actually change how you play. When you die there is a new inventory management system so deaths feel more controlled. You can also recycle items and turn armor tools and weapons back into ingots at fifty percent value so junk gear is actually useful.
There are custom masks and custom ore generation with ore spawn rates reduced a lot so resources feel more rare. Fishing is also changed with a custom fishing system so it is not just plain old fishing.
Spawn has rentable market stalls so players can run their own shops. The economy is player driven so trading and prices are decided by players instead of a shop menu.
The server supports Minecraft 1.21 and higher on both Java and Bedrock so more people can join and play together.

EmberSteal SMP is a server that mixes ideas from Lifesteal Strength SMP and Infuse SMP into one world.
When you kill a player you either steal one of their hearts or you steal one of their effect bundles. There is also a third special mechanic that is planned so fights are not just about gear but also about what you can take.
You can craft your own effect bundles and stack them. Eating the same bundle upgrades it from level 1 to 2 and then 2 to 3. All of this runs on custom datapack effects so it feels different from normal survival.
Progression feels fast but still balanced because almost everything can be stolen and drops as embers when you die. So nobody is ever totally safe and every fight matters.
The server is planned for Java and maybe Bedrock and there is simple voice chat so people can talk while they play or raid or test stuff. The owner is looking for people who want to join and help test the mechanics before and around the launch in mid December.

I found this Minecraft server called ICONIC and it feels like a place where players try to become legends.
The server has a normal survival SMP where you can farm build and just progress at your own speed. There is also a Factions mode with alliances wars strategies and territory fights for people who like more action.
If you like challenges there is a One Block mode where you start on a single block and slowly grow your world bigger and bigger.
There is an economy with shops money and trading between players. You can get special ranks with cool bonuses and it says the system is balanced for both new players and hardcore tryhards.

DarkHorseMC is a survival server that mixes pve and pvp in a pretty cool way. Most of the world is about exploring and building and surviving. You can make your own base and try to build up your legacy in factions.
If you like pvp there are custom arenas and a MobArena where you can test how strong you are. If you do not want to fight all the time you do not have to because pvp is more optional and focused in those spots.
There is also a player economy so you can try to get rich by trading with other players. The server grew out of the old TeamExtreme community so it has that feeling of a big shared world and a spawn area that the world grows around.

This is a lifesteal style Minecraft server that is trying to be more balanced.
From what I can tell the main idea is that you fight other players and steal their hearts but it is not super broken. It is made so battles feel more fair and not just one shot.
It seems like a place for people who like PvP and survival together and want some challenge without everything being totally crazy.

Mubian World is a vanilla style SMP with a worldborder that is 5000 by 5000 so everyone stays pretty close together. It feels like a small world where you can actually meet other players and see what they build.
