Gallant is a semi vanilla survival server that tries to feel like normal Minecraft but a little smoother. You can join without a whitelist app and get in fast after you link your user.
They focus on keeping your time safe with backups grief protection and inventory snapshots. Chests can be protected with a sign so your stuff stays yours.
There are small quality of life tweaks like vein mining ores when you sneak and the game picking the best tool for what you are breaking. Creepers do not damage blocks and phantoms do not spawn. Minecarts go faster and your hand can auto refill while you build.
It also has a dynmap so you can look around the world while you play.
