Harder Survival

This is a dedicated 1.20.4 survival server with a handful of changes that really add to the survival experience while mitigating some of the less-fun aspects of the game. While it isn’t a purely vanilla experience, the goal is to provide something close to a vanilla experience with modifications that we think add a necessary challenge for veteran players, as well as some quality of life changes that remove some of the more tedious or illogical aspects of the game.
The server is running Fabric with a handful of mods and data-packs with some changes to the base game rules. The best part is, the server does not require you to download anything and can be connected to using a vanilla client.
Some of the changes we’ve made include:
– No natural regeneration
– Hard difficulty
– Improved Dungeons and other structures
The server map is running Terralith along with a variety of custom structures from a few different mods. On the QoL side, we have things such as Treefall, expanded recipes for the stone cutter, cauldron concrete, and minor healing benefits from using a bed.

*The main point of these rules is to arbitrate disputes between players and lay out the basic PvP guidelines. In general, I think most people prefer to play cooperatively, and I encourage everyone to do just that.

If you made this far, and do join make sure you read the board at spawn. At spawn you’ll see our little city that gets pasted into each new season(not always), it’s not a place to build at, just something to look at right when you join. We also tend to add things to it each season. Howdy! welcome to The Archana SMP, a lore based modded SMP. We’re pretty cool with an active player base, snazzy modpack, and special weapons scattered around the map in special temples. Alongside this, we have a 24/7 server with 16 Gigs, soon to be more so a generally Lag free experience is to be expected. We have a 7k by 7k world border that expands by 5k with each set of temples being placed.
What are the weapons?
We use a mod called "Simply Swords" which have unique weapons, each having their own abilities and quirks to make them special and powerful! Holders of said weapons are called "Overlords" and have a higher respect from the Divine Judgement above. They cannot be crafted, only found in those temples mentioned before.

Rules:
- No Hacking: We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on hacking. Any players found to be hacking will receive a perm-ban.
- No Griefing: Griefing will be met with 3-4 warnings. On second offense, players will be perm-banned. Light grief will be punished with 2-3 warnings. All grief can and will be rolled back very easily.
- No hate speech, toxicity, or slurs: Slurs are NOT TOLERATED, offenders will be perm-banned from the server & Discord with no appeal. Toxic players will get a verbal warning, and then 1 warning per additional offense. DO NOT be a creep. Creeps will get a 24 hour mute & perm-ban on repeat offense.
- No spam or advertising: Spam includes begging for ranks, permissions, or items from staff or players. Offenders receive 1 warning and a 10 minute mute per offense. Advertising results in a perm-mute.
- No Exploits, glitches, duping, or x-ray: Offenders will receive a 1-3 warnings per offense, and any items or progress gained will be reversed. Large scale duping can result in a perm-ban. The Nether roof is allowed. We are able to easily find dupe caches, and locate the owner. Its not worth your time.
