Campfire SMP is a small 18 plus server that wants to be a long term home and not just another world that resets in a month. The world started on 09 13 2025 and the goal is to keep it going for years.
The server is semi vanilla survival with a whitelist and an authentic feel so there is no tpa and no home commands. It runs on Purpur 1.21.11 with a few plugins and data packs that are mostly for quality of life and admin stuff like Coreprotect and Dynmap and Simple Voice Chat.
There is already a lot built even though the server is still pretty new. There is a shopping district and a themed city district plus nether highways and an arena and minigames area. The world border is 60k by 60k so there is still a ton of land to explore and it will get bigger with big updates.
Most players are adults in their 20s with some in their 30s and 40s. People hang out in voice chat a lot working on projects playing other games or just talking. It feels like a chill small community where everyone actually knows each other.
The server is self hosted 24 7 in Las Vegas on strong hardware with an Intel i7 13700 32gb of DDR5 ram and an SSD so it is built to stay online with limited interruptions.
