Minearchy is a long running server that tries to feel like a real community and not just a random survival world. It runs on Java 1.21.11 and you do not need mods to join.
The main mode is survival with grief protection so your stuff stays safe. There are chest shops plus auctions and player warps so trading and traveling is easy. The economy is meant to feel balanced and there is an mcMMO style skill system so you can level up by playing.
You also get daily and weekly quests and the server does special events. There are dedicated PvP and PvE zones so you can fight when you want to. They also say it is not pay to win and everything is earned by playing.
If you want a break from survival there are lots of minigames like TNT Run and TNT Tag plus Prop Hunt and Splegg. There is KitPvP and other games like Quake Mini Walls Zombies Squid Game Among Us and MineKart. It has a live dynmap too so exploring the world is way easier.
