Emberline SMP is a brand new survival world that only wants 20 players total. The owner is tired of huge servers with like 100 people and also tired of servers that never even start.
The server is mostly vanilla and it has proximity chat as the main extra thing. You can talk in game when you get close to other players. There is a tutorial in the discord that shows you how to install it so it is not confusing.
There is also one player sleep so nights go by fast and there are player head drops so you can collect heads. It feels like it is built to be a small close group where everyone actually knows each other.
You apply to join and once 20 people are in the discord and accepted that is the full server. It sounds like a simple chill SMP for people who just want to play survival with a steady group and not deal with giant random servers.
