BareBonesMP is a hardcore plus survival server that stays close to vanilla. There are no teleport commands and block damage is on like fire spread and creeper explosions so it feels real.
The big twist is the health system. Every time you die you lose one heart down to a minimum of three hearts. You can craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block to get one heart back. You can even go past ten hearts up to twenty. Those extra hearts are temporary and they disappear as you take damage.
It is not an anarchy server so stealing and griefing are not allowed. The server also has optional proximity voice chat plus cross chat between Discord and in game. They run weekend events and monthly mayor elections. The map was reset on Aug. 10th 2025 and they say the server has been online for over five years with 24 7 uptime.
