Rosedalean SMP is a survival server that feels like a chill hermitcraft style world. It is 18 plus and you have to apply to join so they keep trolls and griefers out. The players seem really friendly and there is a mix of casual people and really dedicated grinders.
The server is enhanced vanilla so it still feels like normal Minecraft but with extra cool stuff. They use add ons instead of big mods so you do not have to download anything. There is simple voice chat so people can talk. They also use Terralith so the biomes and exploration look way more interesting.
There are community run events and players can suggest ideas. You can make or join factions and try to be the strongest group on the server or just build a cute village for you and your animals. There is a ton of space to settle down and make your own base and projects.
They have a ticket system so if something happens you can get help easily. There is also a blue map so you can see the explored world and plan where to go. The staff say they take the community seriously and really listen to suggestions so the server keeps getting better.
