UneasyVanilla is a Minecraft server that feels like real old school survival. It is semi anarchy so players get a lot of freedom but there are still some rules to keep the server running good.
The world has been up for over four years and it really shows. When you first join you spawn in a crazy mess of lavacasts and griefed terrain. You have to escape that chaos before you can really start your adventure. After that you can explore the huge world and build bases wherever you want.
The server tries to stay true to the original Minecraft vision. There are no wild custom features. It is basically pure vanilla with a focus on survival and player made stories. You can team up with other players make alliances or just go solo and test your skills.
There is a small relaxed community that cares about fairness. Staff are active and they ban cheaters to protect legit gameplay and server performance. There is still a feeling of lawlessness but it does not turn into total hacker madness.
