The Garden SMP is a Java 1.21.11 survival server with towny role play and a chill vibe. It is made to be easy to join and friendly for new players.
People focus on worldbuilding and stories. You can make towns and nations in the overworld then go on big adventures in other dimensions and keep the lore going with other players.
You start with three lives and you lose one if another player kills you. You can protect builds with Towny. There are chest shops so players can sell stuff without a forced economy.
There are extra systems like Animal Hunger for raising livestock. You can lock chests with trail keys and lock picks exist too. You can also follow a god as a priest cultist or devote worshipper and earn rewards with Devotions then explore god realms with Multiverse.
It is not pay to win and it is meant to be relaxed with optional challenges. Staff and mods are active and the community is small but growing.
