Voyager SMP is a launching soon survival server with a semi anarchy vibe. It is Java 1.21.11 and it starts as a fresh world so nobody has a head start.
The big twist is the Infuse SMP ability system. Players can use up to two effects and one of them stays permanent so fights and movement can get really wild.
It is made for PvP plus alliances and betrayals and big events that feel high stakes. The first event is Teams where players get split into four groups and the winning team gets to pick their permanent effect first. After all teams have a permanent effect then everyone can craft other effects.
They want people from PST GMT and CST if possible so events stay active. Content creators are encouraged too since the server is built for rivalries and stories.

I found a modded survival server where you start like normal and then you slowly learn the mods as you play. Over time you fight more bosses find rare items and run into more dangerous structures while you explore.
You can build a base with friends or team up later. People make factions claim land make alliances and sometimes go to war.
Griefing and stealing is allowed but it is not anarchy. If you are officially in a war then you can grief and steal a lot more. Hacking is never allowed and major griefing is not allowed outside of conflicts. Small damage and minor builds can get hit but random huge base wipes are not the vibe.
There is a trial period where you can hop on and look around. The real start happens after a world reset with a new seed on Saturday the 4th of April.
