Aelythera is a 16+ Minecraft roleplay server that is still new and growing. It is built around meeting new people and playing characters in a big story with planned events.
The lore starts in a normal world called Koriam with different regions and cultures and steampunk tech. Years ago people vanished during something called The Great Vanishing and now it is happening again. Your character gets taken too and wakes up in a new world full of magic and the ruins of an old civilization.
A big part of the server is discovery. You work on finding your new powers and learning the new world while trying to rebuild the tech you lost. Progress sounds hard on purpose even making basic tools can be difficult. You can explore the ancient ruins and hunt for secrets or focus on researching and creating inventions.
The staff team has experience from other Minecraft roleplay servers and they try to keep things welcoming and inclusive. They also want to listen to the community and take suggestions including lore ideas.
