The Continuum SMP is a modded survival server built around a Cobblemon adventure with a real story going on. This is Season 2 and it takes place in a world with a strange desert infection that slowly shapes what happens next.
The modpack has around 130 plus mods and addons so you need an average performance PC. It is meant to feel chill and cohesive and still like Minecraft.
It has Minecraft themed regional variants and it includes the big Pokemon battle gimmicks like Megas Z Moves Dynamax and Terastal. There are shiny hunting tools and events too plus unique items structures and different progression paths.
Roleplay is encouraged but it is not forced. You can join in at your own pace or just focus on gameplay. The community aims to stay respectful and drama free and there is a short application process before you get in.

This is a Skyblock server where your islands never reset and you can keep expanding forever as you grow.
It has custom cave systems with multiple levels. Ores regenerate and there are custom mobs plus bosses to fight down there.
Fishing is a big deal here with over 100 unique textured fish to catch and collect. There are also 60 fishing mobs to kill.
There are hundreds of quests so you always have something to do and a clear progression path. Seasonal payouts happen too so you can compete or just play casual.
It is profile based so if you get bored of your island you can start a new one and switch back anytime. The server is on version 1.21+ with 1.21.10 native. Gilded Abyss is a modded SMP that is going into Season 2 and it is built around a medieval era kind of vibe.
When you join you slowly get placed into one of two groups and you get daily tasks as the season keeps going. The End stays closed at first and opens after a full week and then there is an event.
The world is made to be fun to explore with extra biomes and terrain from Biomes o Plenty and Terralith. You can also pick an Origin in game so your race matters for how you play.
There are special items you can earn in different ways and there are custom bosses for people who want hard fights. The Create mod is also in so you can build machines and automate stuff as long as it is reasonable.
