The Anchor is a long term Java survival server that is meant to feel familiar even if you take a break. The vibe is that you can dip out for a while and still be welcomed when you come back.
It stays really close to vanilla. There are no game breaking mechanics and no plugins that change what Survival is supposed to be. It also avoids constant resets so your builds and progress can actually stick around.
Ranks are based on playtime so it is about showing up and being part of the world. The economy is made by players and there is also a changing Admin Shop that helps push things along sometimes. The server listens to feedback from the dedicated players who become the anchors of the community.
