CozyCraft is a chill survival server where people mostly just build and hang out. It feels calm and focused on making cool stuff instead of starting drama.
PvP is off so you do not have to worry about random fights. The world is never getting reset so your builds can stay forever.
It also says no pay to win which makes it feel fair. The gameplay stays mostly vanilla so it still feels like normal Minecraft.
You can join on Java or Bedrock so it is easy to play with friends on different devices. Take your time and build big or small because your creations are meant to stick around.
I found Enderpearl and it is a German Minecraft server that has been online for a while and it is meant to last. The team says the server has been around since 2021 and they want to improve it step by step and keep it stable.
On the server you can play BuildFFA and KnockbackFFA if you like fast fights. There is also CityBuild for more chill building and BedWars for teams and quick games. They are also working on another game mode right now.
They are looking for people who really want to help with the project not just basic support roles. They want Java developers who can make Paper plugins and fix stuff. They also want people with server know how like Velocity proxy and backend setup plugin configs LuckPerms performance MySQL testing and finding problems.
It is a hobby project so there is no payment. If you are reliable and you know servers or coding this place seems like it wants serious long term helpers.
LuckyGem is a vanilla survival SMP on Minecraft 1.21.11 that is aiming for long term players. The map is new so it feels like a fresh start.
It is whitelisted so you have to apply to get in. It also has Java and Bedrock cross play so more people can join together.

I found ArcticMC and it is a new SMP that started only a couple days ago. It is a Towny and factions survival server so you can make a town and claim land then team up with others or fight over territory.
PVP matters here but it is not just random killing. They use an honor system and it is explained in their rules so combat is supposed to stay fair.
There is McMMO skills so you level up as you play and unlock abilities when you get higher levels. They also have custom items like furniture and it is entity based so they plan limits per chunk to help with lag.
The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks realistic with big mountains and valleys. The community is meant to be calm and friendly so you can build grind explore or just hang out.
Ultimate Hardcore is a permanent death Hardcore SMP and it is made for people who want real consequences.
There are no map resets and no revives. If you die then you are done and your story is over.
The world is huge at 300000 by 300000 blocks. PvP is on everywhere and raiding and griefing are allowed too so it always feels dangerous.
It stays close to vanilla but it uses some plugins that fit the hardcore vibe. You can get player heads and take loot from a dead players Ender Chest. It also has Simple Voice Chat plus deep stat tracking and some quality of life stuff.
Players form alliances and take land and start wars then one day they die and everything gets left behind for the next group. Nothing is scripted and all the drama happens because of players.
It runs on version 1.21.11.
