Craftiverse is a competitive Factions server that is trying to bring back that old school factions feeling but built for 1.20 and up.
The world is custom made and it looks like it was designed for smart base spots and big terrain fights. It feels like the kind of place where raiders and builders both matter.
There is hardcore PvP and raiding so you are expected to defend your land and go after other teams too. The server also runs weekly events plus KOTH and other custom challenges with big loot payouts.
The community and economy sound like they are meant to stay balanced while still letting rivalries and alliances shape what happens over time.

SableCraft is a small vanilla SMP that is starting up for the long run. It is meant for people who want a world that does not keep resetting all the time.
The vibe is chill and respectful. Builders casual players and creators are welcome. The server is not pay to win and it is not anarchy. The goal is to avoid drama and grow a tight community from the very start.
They are doing Season 1 player applications and there are optional staff applications too. The direction of the server is community driven from day 1 and the launch is coming soon.

I found a place that offers Minecraft server hosting and also game hosting and VPS stuff.
It is mostly about cheap plans and they say the performance is reliable.
They also mention free hosting options so it seems good if you are just starting a server or a project.

SSUKingdoms is a semi vanilla style Paper server on 1.21+ and it is in alpha. It is not trying to be a normal SMP. The whole point is a procedural medieval kingdom sandbox where the world generates multiple kingdoms inside a fixed circular map with a hard border wall.
Each kingdom comes with its own capital and roads and identity. You can join a kingdom and earn loyalty then climb ranks and work through progression. Capitals have protected spaces and you can claim plots too.
There is a treasury system that helps fund stuff like roads and guards and capital growth. A lot of the main gameplay runs through NPCs with a kingdom UI plus shops jobs and contracts. There is also road repair gameplay and events like caravans patrols bandits and early raid style world pressure.
They are mainly looking for alpha feedback on how the roads feel how capitals feel onboarding progression balance kingdom identity and any bugs or weird generation.

Frontline Combat is a modded server that feels like squad based battlefield fights with teams going against each other in PvP.
They run regular events every week and they keep trying to make each one better. The server also uses their own custom mods and content so it is not just the same old stuff.
They are trying to grow the player base so if you want team combat and organized events this one is worth checking out. It is Java only.
