This is a brand new season for a Minecraft Java survival world on version 1.21.11. It is made for people who like Minecraft the plain way with survival exploration and building that actually matters.
It is vanilla and tries to keep things simple. There is no pay to win and no overcomplicated plugin stuff.
Player interaction is encouraged but griefing stealing and toxic behavior are not allowed. They want mature players 17+ who will stick around and not just join for a week.
You can play solo or start a settlement or just travel and build your own story. There is optional proximity voice chat if you want it but you do not have to use it. NerdNu is a medium sized Minecraft community that feels like mostly vanilla play and people actually talk and build together. It is one of the older public multiplayer servers and it aims for that classic belonging feeling.
There are two main servers you can join. PvE is survival with no player fighting so you only worry about mobs. Players team up a lot and build towns and bigger city projects. The PvE world reset on September 19th and they also run games nights with different hosted events on Fridays and Saturdays.
Creative is open world and it mixes normal generation with world painted terrain. You can protect your builds and WorldEdit is free to use if you want it. Creative also has community events like Spleef and Speed Build on alternating Saturdays. Creative started Revision 38 on June 22 2024.

Lavender SMP is a whitelisted Java server that runs on version 1.21.11. It is set to hard mode and it is meant for players who are 18+ and lgbtq+ friendly.
The server feels like a close knit group that likes building and talking. If people are in voice chat you can jump in and hang out.

Evergrove SMP is a long term survival server that is trying to feel stable and chill. It is made for players who do not want a world that wipes all the time and who want to stick around and build something that lasts.
The main thing I noticed is the player driven city that keeps expanding as people build more. Travel is a big deal here too because you can use cars and helicopters. There are also tractors for farming and drills for mining so the server feels more like a working world.
There is a separate Creative world and a hub that lets you go between Survival City and Creative. The economy is balanced with player shops and there is a bank system for keeping valuables safe. Proximity voice chat is on and there is random TPA and even your mounts can teleport with you.
They also say they focus on no pay to win rules helpful staff grief prevention and keeping the world long term. It runs on Java 1.21.1 and has crossplay for console players using BedrockConnect.GG.MINEWIND.NET New Server IPGlowSMP Vanilla Plus Done Right
GlowSMP is a newly launched Vanilla plus survival server that is meant for people who want to build grind or just chill. It runs on 1.21 to 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock.
It has claims so your builds can stay safe and you do not have to stress about griefing.
The server adds a bunch of quality of life stuff like voice chat and messages graves better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool and a live map.
Fishing is a big deal here with new fish you can catch then sell for money plus tracking and a leaderboard for the best fisherman.
There are 11 special enchantment books that help with building and gathering like breaking a whole tree at once or getting haste for mining.
Jobs are set up so you are in every job at once and you earn experience and money from most actions and there are clean leaderboards to show who does what the most.
There is also a centralized storage network where you can place a terminal in your base and link chests to it so searching and storing items is way easier.
The server says it is fully free to play and everything is obtainable for everyone. There are vote ranks and there is a shop for people who want convenience but it is not required.GG.MINEWIND.NET New Server IP
