Rosebloom SMP is a friendly seasonal survival server with Java and Bedrock crossplay. It feels chill and community focused and the staff team is big on keeping it welcoming and respectful.
Season 3 starts March 6th and it begins in the Nether. Everyone works together to unlock and reach the Overworld and then start exploring the main world. The server also runs community events with in game prizes including valuables and even Nether stars plus some custom items.
There are custom biomes and custom food and crops with quality of life plugins too. It also has a rewards system and seasons that do not drag on forever. Minecraft chat can link with Discord using a bot so it is easy to stay connected while you play.
You can play how you want like building mining farming exploring redstone or just hanging out. There are still some limits since it is a real survival server with rules.

I found a community centered survival network that is meant to feel like a real home server. It has been around since 2015 and it starts a new world for each big Minecraft release and the current survival map is for 1.21.8+ with a fresh map that began on July 19th 2025.
The gameplay is survival with extra stuff that players asked for. Land claiming is done with GriefPrevention so your builds can be protected. There is basic teleport like home and back. There is McMMO for leveling skills. There is also a dynmap so you can look at the world.
The server has an economy with player shops and a custom warp plugin for towns. You can also use MyPet. They run monthly server events and PvP is optional. There are lots of custom features that were suggested by the community and built in house.
