Campfire SMP is a whitelisted survival server for adults and it is built for people who want a real long term world. It is 18+ only and most players are in their 20s with some older too. The vibe is small community and people hang out together a lot.
The server runs semi vanilla so it still feels like normal survival. There are no easy teleport commands like tpa or home. It is running on Purpur 1.21.11 and it stays online 24 7 since it is self hosted in Las Vegas with only limited interruptions.
Even though it started on 09 13 2025 there is already a lot going on like a shopping district a themed city style shopping area nether highways and an arena with a mini games district. The world border is set to 60k by 60k so there is still tons to explore and they plan to expand it with big updates.
It uses a few plugins and data packs for quality of life and admin stuff while keeping it authentic. You will see things like Dynmap Simple Voice Chat Coreprotect and extras like mini blocks player heads and armor stand options.
I found a brand new Java anarchy server called 99b99t and it is built for pure chaos. It is true anarchy so there are no rules and nobody is going to save you.
The world is fresh and it is ready for players to fight survive and leave a mark. The difficulty is set to hard so you have to stay sharp.
It runs 24 7 and it supports Java versions from 1.12.2 to 1.21.11. If you like danger and messy survival this is the kind of place where anything can happen.
AvalonEarth is an EarthSMP geopolitics server where players make nations and fight over land on a 1 to 500 scale map so there is lots of space to spread out.
It runs with Towny so claiming land and building nations is a big part of the server. New players get starter money so anyone can start a nation right away without grinding first.
Wars and conflict happen a lot here if you want that. If you do not like fighting you can play peaceful and try to stay out of it.
Money mainly comes from jobs plus farming and fishing and they said more ways are being added later. The server has had seasons and the current season has been bringing in a lot of new players.
Cobblemon Towns is a new beta server with custom features and a big focus on community. It is built around a town plus adventure experience where you can play as a battler or just chill and collect.
Players can create and grow their own town with friends then head out on expeditions together. While exploring you can fight raid bosses and deal with Pokemon attacking you.
There are monthly tournaments plus hunts and legendary spawns. Trading is a big deal too with a global trade system and player shops.
The server also has player levels for a different kind of grind. You can explore new domains and worlds and even see some server exclusive fakemon.
This server is for both cracked and premium players so more people can join.
It also says no P2W so it should feel more fair and not like you have to pay to keep up.
