Elysium SMP Whitelist Creative + Survival
Elysium is a small Java server with multiple worlds and it is looking for more 18 plus players. It used to be public back in 2022 then it closed at the start of 2024 and now it is back with a fresh server from early November.
The Survival world is on 1.21.10 and has a 10k by 10k border. It uses mcMMO skills and it has an online map you can open with the map command. Most teleport commands are off so it feels more vanilla and people travel with a Nether roof system. There is a shopping district at spawn where you can set up chest shops and diamonds are the currency.
There is also a Plots world with 85 by 85 plots so creative builders can have their own space. You start with one plot and you can earn more by moving up build ranks. The Creative world is superflat freebuild for bigger community builds and higher rank builders. You are allowed to build together if everyone agrees and you are not allowed to mess with other peoples builds without permission.
A Hub world connects everything and you can use spawn or hub to get there. It has hangout spots and an amphitheater for community events. There is also a Creative2 world that is a perk for build ranks and it is another superflat place to show off builds. Campfire SMP is a small whitelisted survival server for players who want a long term world that does not reset after a month. It is 18+ and most people are in their 20s with some older too so it feels more chill and grown up.
The server runs semi vanilla on Purpur 1.21.11 with a few plugins and data packs that keep the survival feel. There is no /tpa and no /home so travel and building paths actually matter.
People have already made a lot of shared areas like a shopping district a themed city district nether highways and an arena with mini games. Players also hang out in voice chat while they build or just talk.
It is self hosted 24 7 in Las Vegas with a 60k by 60k border and it will expand with major updates. The Garden is a semi vanilla survival multiplayer server that keeps the normal vanilla feel but adds extra features to make it more fun.
It supports cross play between Java and Bedrock though Java is recommended for the best time. The rules are clear and they do not allow hacking griefing stealing or nonconsensual PvP.
The community is meant to be close and friendly and they shut down toxicity and drama fast. People are encouraged to build group projects like towns and shopping areas and there are sometimes events with prizes.
It is not pay to win. Ranks are earned by getting in game money and you can make money from jobs milestones and tasks or by running a shop. Purgatory SMP is an already established survival server with a hardcore revive setup so dying actually matters and you have to play smart.
It is cross play between Bedrock and Java so both kinds of players can join as long as you are not on console.

BackToBlocks is a simple survival server that sticks close to vanilla but still adds some quality of life stuff. It works for both Java and Bedrock players so friends can join even if they are on different versions.
The spawn is built by the community and the server runs events sometimes. There is a decorated Nether hub and a decorated End island too. Players also have a shopping district that is run by the players.
You can use stuff like sethome and tpa plus a few other light features. There is also itemflip where you can gamble items just for fun and you can toggle phantoms.
