EchelonMC is a fully custom SMP that tries to feel different from all the usual copy paste survival servers. The owner uses custom coded features and listens to player feedback so the server keeps getting updated and changed.
The server has auto pathing that lets you create paths just by walking and you get a speed bonus when you use them. You can turn this on or off. There is a currency called Echelites that you earn just by playing and you can spend it on progression and utilities.
Land claiming is more advanced than normal. You can see visual borders and set things per chunk like anti grief options mob settings TNT fire spread raids and fluid protection. There are public chunks where people can publish their builds for others to visit and they can earn from visitors and climb rankings.
You can also make teams invite your friends show off team nametags and use team utilities. When you die a grave spawns with your items for a limited time and you can use back to help recover after teleports.
The server has voting with rewards and a spawn hub with custom NPCs and useful stuff. Discord chat is linked in game and there are anti X ray protections. Everything is made to be non pay to win and built to evolve with the community.

This is a small Minecraft SMP that is looking for more players.
Right now there are only a few people active so new players can join and actually matter. It feels calm and not crowded. You can join and just play survival and meet new people.
The server is simple and about survival with others. If you want a place that is not full of randoms and you like a smaller world this one is pretty good.
I think it is nice for people who just want to chill and play with a small group and see the server grow.

ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP that is all about building and long stories instead of rushing to the end.
The server world is split into two main zones. In the Green Zone you cannot do pvp or steal or grief. There are no generated structures there and it is all about building towns trading and making lore together. In the Red Zone pvp is on and stealing is allowed and normal structures can generate so it feels more dangerous but you still are not supposed to just grief everything.
The End is turned off so there are no elytras or shulker farms. People travel by land or on water or through the Nether so the world feels bigger and slower. The world is meant to last a long time with no planned resets so your builds and stories can stay.
There is a diamond based economy and a team system. Teams can level up by using diamonds and that unlocks extra perks like more warps shared storage and more member slots. There are also seasonal competitions that give lore themed rewards like armor trims and shulker boxes.
The gameplay is mostly vanilla but there are some small quality of life things like home tpa duel and shops. There is no pay to win and no special donor perks. Voice chat is optional if you want to talk instead of just type.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and supports both Java and Bedrock so more people can join together.

Eternal SMP is a survival server that feels like real vanilla but with some small upgrades that make it nicer to play. The goal is to stay up for a long time so players can build big projects without losing their progress.
The server is for Java 1.21.10 and it is whitelisted and for 18 plus only. The community is made of adults who want a stable world and a calm place to hang out. There is no pay to win stuff so there are no crates no cosmetics and no ranks.
It uses datapacks and resourcepacks like Vanilla Tweaks Servux and Litematica support to just improve the normal game. Elytra and the dragon egg drop from the dragon so players do not have to grind the end over and over. TNT gravity block and rail duping are allowed so technical players can do big farms.
There is a world border at 15k in every dimension for now until future updates. The server is for builders redstone and technical players and also people who just want to explore and chill. The vibe is friendly and relaxed and it is made for people who are tired of toxic servers or worlds that reset all the time.

This is a small vanilla plus SMP called Lillias Goons. It just started last week so it still feels really fresh but people already have some stuff going on.
There are around 15 active players and most of them already know each other. Everyone seems pretty experienced with the game and they care a lot about farms and community projects. If you join they expect you to help with building farms and doing group builds and events instead of just hiding alone.
The server is semi private and they only take new members through a short application. You need to be at least 16 years old and they would really prefer if you are 18 or older.
It is a vanilla plus style SMP with support for both Java and Bedrock players. So you can join no matter which edition you use as long as you want a chill but active group to play with.
