The server runs on hard difficulty so mobs hurt more and the game feels more intense. There is a 33 percent sleep rule so only some players need to sleep to skip the night which makes multiplayer less annoying.
They use a live map so you can see the world from a browser. There is a whitelist so random people do not just join and ruin stuff. There is also a simple voice mod that is optional if you like talking in game.
