Just Be Create-tive is a survival SMP built around the Create mod and a big mod list with 80 plus mods. It is made for players who want to build factories and automate tons of stuff while still playing survival.
I found that it also has quality of life mods and extra content like furniture and electrical style mods. There is even an in game shop system from Create so you can start a shop and trade with other members.
This is a PVE server and they do not allow griefing or stealing so it is meant to be chill and safe for builds.

I found a small Towny and SMP server called GamerHub Towny that is meant to be super chill. The big focus is no grief and no stealing so people can just build and relax.
Players mostly work on towns and try to grow them over time. There is also money ranks and towns to compete for so you always have something to aim at.
It has jobs and MCMMO and an in game ranking system. You can play on a vanilla map and there is also an Earth map option.

I found EchelonMC and it feels like a survival server that is actually built for the long run. It is 100 percent custom built and it has been in active development for about 2 months. The owner Eddy keeps building it around player suggestions and they already added over 100 of them.
The server is focused on long term building and real progression. It is not pay to win and it is not one of those copy paste plugin pack servers. They also say there are no main world resets planned.
Protection is a big deal here with advanced land claiming. You can see borders and change settings like TNT and creeper control fire spread protection raid prevention fluid freeze and even mob spawn controls. It sounds made for huge builds without letting griefing take over.
There is a currency called Echelites that you earn just by playing like mining farming fishing exploring and building. You can spend it on progression and quality of life stuff. There are also teams with invites shared access and private team chat plus public builds that people can visit and vote on.
