Twilight Sanctuary is a chill 18 plus Minecraft server that feels like a small town. Everyone is encouraged to talk and hang out and make real friends. The owner really cares about player feedback and wants every person to feel like their opinion matters.
The server is mostly vanilla with some small quality of life plugins. It runs on Paper and has Java and Bedrock crossplay so more people can join. There is a diamond based economy that is inspired by hermitcraft so trading feels fun and player driven.
There is a resource world where people can go to gather materials and keep the main world looking nice. The server also has a live Bluemap so you can see the world from a browser and plan where to build.
The world border is smaller on purpose so players set up bases closer together. This helps people run into each other more and makes the community feel alive. There are lots of events planned and also surprise pop up events so there is usually something going on when the server is busy.
Twilight Sanctuary has already been running for over a month and is still going strong. There are still many projects to join and new ones to start and the community keeps growing with more adults who want a friendly place to play.

WhimsyWillow is a simple semi vanilla SMP that feels really cozy. It has some really cool terrain generation so exploring actually feels fun and new.
The server is still kind of fresh so there is a lot of untouched land. The world border keeps expanding so players can always find brand new areas to build and explore.
There are optional origins you can pick if you want a little extra twist. If you do not like that you can just play normal survival.
The community is always looking for new members and the server has rules against griefing and some extra rules too. It is meant to be a safe place where you can relax build and basically do what you want without people ruining your stuff.
To join you just have to apply with a short application in their discord. It sounds pretty easy so almost anyone can try to get in.

This is a Polish Minecraft server that is all about economy and RPG style gameplay. When I joined it felt like the world was built for grinding money doing quests and slowly getting stronger.
The server has a developed economic system so you are always trading and earning. There is also a plot system so you can get your own place and grow it over time.
There are dungeons with prizes and typical RPG tasks so it really feels like an adventure. You explore custom biomes and custom structures and you can find cool custom enchants too.
Overall it feels like a chill Polish survival RPG server where you can farm quests explore dungeons and build up your land if you like long term progression.

Ordinary SMP is a vanilla Java survival server that feels like a small community even though people are from all over the world. It is whitelisted so everyone is here to actually play and respect each other. The server is always kept up to date and right now it runs on version 1.21.10.
The community is really into building and working together on big projects. There are server wide events like pvp battles build contests and huge community builds so there is usually something going on. It is good for builders explorers and redstone players or anyone who just wants to relax and vibe on a survival world.
Even though it is vanilla there is grief protection so your base and builds are kept safe from troublemakers. There is a live BlueMap so you can see the world from a browser and explore easier. The server also uses AudioPlayer for custom audio and Simple VoiceChat so you can talk in game and feel more immersed.
There is a custom resource pack with special cosmetics trophies and event rewards that match a HermitCraft inspired theme. Players can even share ideas for custom items which makes the server feel more personal and community driven.
