There is also a big deadline. If you do not escape before the grid failure protocol hits then a nuke drops inside the wall and wipes everything in the zone.
It is not hardcore. There is a land claim system so people cannot grief you or force PVP on you in your claim. But it does not stop stealing and you can toggle PVP in claims with claim commands. The map is about 4 months old and it usually sits around 0 to 9 players online. It is not trying to blow up fast. It feels more like slow community growth.
It runs on version 1.21.11 with a huge 1m by 1m world border. The server is dedicated and hosted in Germany and it stays around 20 TPS most of the time.
