PurpleSMP is a simple survival server that is made to feel calm but still has some nice features. It runs a recent version of Minecraft and is built for players who just want to build and relax without dealing with annoying people.
The server uses mcMMO so you can level skills and make grinding for resources feel more satisfying. There is a player based economy with no fixed shops and no set currency. All the value comes from what players trade and create together.
There are land claims so you can protect your base and build up your own little empire. Everyone gets a personal vault so you have extra storage when your inventory fills up. The server also has a live map you can view in a browser so you can see the world like a map website.
PvP is off by default but you can toggle it if you want to mess around with friends. The server has strong protection systems. Every block placed or broken gets logged and your inventory is backed up each time you join leave or die. Staff can roll things back if someone breaks the rules.
There is also a solid anti cheat. When someone triggers it staff get alerted right away and the plugin takes action until it can be checked. The whole idea of PurpleSMP is to be a small safe and long term place for people who just want to enjoy survival and building in peace.
