PurpleSMP is a small survival server that feels really simple but also pretty polished. It is focused on PVE so you can relax and build without getting hunted by random people.
The server uses mcMMO so you can level up skills while you mine and grind for resources. There is a player based economy with no set shops and no server money so all value comes from what players trade and build.
You can claim land to keep your builds safe. Every block placed or broken is logged. Your inventory is also backed up whenever you join or leave or die so staff can restore stuff if someone breaks the rules.
PvP is off by default but you can toggle it if you want to mess around with friends. There are playervaults so you get extra secure storage besides your normal inventory.
The server runs a strong anti cheat. When someone sets it off staff get alerted in Discord and the plugin reacts until a staff member can check what happened.
There is an online map that looks like a map website so you can see the world and find new areas to explore. The server is made to be long term with lots of unexplored land still out there.
Discord is required to play and the goal is to have a calm place to enjoy newer versions of Minecraft without toxic players.

This is a new nations style SMP where players fight and build their own nation. The world is a small 1024 by 1024 map so every base and every wall actually matters.
The server is whitelisted so you have to fill out a form first. They want players who are interesting and know what they are doing but still keep a chill vibe and are not scared to start fights or big projects.
You pick a side or start your own and try to bring your nation glory. Since the world is small you will meet other players a lot so politics and war are a big part of the server.

This server is called VW Reloaded and it has been running for over 10 years with the same world. There are no world resets so your builds and farms are meant to stay forever. If you are tired of losing everything every season this place is made for long term players.

Ordinary SMP is a vanilla Java survival server that feels like a small friend group playing together. It is a whitelisted server so the players are more respectful and it really feels like a normal Minecraft world that people care about.

This server is called TBFMC and it is all about real survival with no shortcuts.
It feels like normal Minecraft where you actually have to work for everything. There are no crazy game changing features so the game stays how it is meant to be.
