PurpleSMP is a small survival server that feels really simple but also kind of fancy at the same time. It is made for people who just want to relax build stuff and not deal with jerks.
The server uses mcMMO so you can level skills and make grinding for resources feel more satisfying. There is no official money or server shop so the whole economy is just based on what players trade and decide is valuable.
You can claim land to protect your builds so random people cannot wreck your base. Everyone also gets a personal vault so if your inventory gets full you still have extra safe storage.
PvP is off by default so most of the server is peaceful PVE. If you and your friends want to fight you can toggle PvP on for yourselves. There is also a live server map you can look at that feels like a zoomed out map website of the world.
The staff take griefing and cheating seriously. Every block placed or broken is logged and your inventory is backed up when you join leave or die so staff can restore stuff if someone breaks the rules. There is a strong anti cheat system that alerts staff when someone trips it and the plugin reacts until a staff member can check it.
PurpleSMP started as a friends only world and later opened to the public so it still has that small community vibe where you can just chill and play without worrying about your builds getting ruined.
