PurpleSMP is a small chill survival server that feels like a safe place to just build and hang out. It is focused on PvE so you do not have to worry about random people ruining your day.

Staff take cheating and griefing seriously. There is a strong anti cheat that alerts staff in Discord and can take action until someone checks it. Your joins leaves and deaths are backed up so staff can restore your stuff if you lose items because someone broke the rules.
The world started as a friends only server and then opened to the public later. The owner calls it a forever world and says they do not plan to ever reset it. It is a good server if you just want a relaxing place to play the latest Minecraft and not deal with rude people.

PvP matters here but it is meant to stay fair. They use an honor system that is explained in the rules so fights do not just turn into chaos.
You can level up skills with McMMO while you play so mining and combat and other stuff feels like you are progressing.
There are custom items too and they even have furniture. The furniture is entity based so they plan to limit it per chunk to help with lag.
