Campfire SMP is a whitelisted survival server for people who are 18+ and want a small community that plans to stick around. The big goal is no resets so your builds can actually matter for years.
It runs on Purpur 1.21.11 and it stays close to real survival. There is no /tpa and no /home so you travel like normal. The world border is 60k by 60k and it is planned to expand with major updates.
Players have already built shared areas like a shopping district, a themed city shopping area, nether highways, and an arena and mini games district. People also hang out in voice chat while working on projects or just talking.
The server is self hosted 24/7 in Las Vegas with limited interruptions. It uses a few plugins and data packs for quality of life and admin help like a live map, voice chat, and grief logging plus small tweaks like custom armor stands, mini blocks, player heads, and stopping endermen from griefing.

Minecraft Bloodlines is a brand new hardcore SMP that is invite only and built for group play and civilization growth.
Only players who are already inside can invite new people. That makes the population grow in a natural way and it helps keep trolls out.
The server has secret tweaks and mechanics that players have to discover on their own. There are no guides so you learn by paying attention and sticking with it.
It also has a clan and family setup so you do not just start alone in a hardcore world. You are part of a group and you are part of a story that keeps going.

The Perch is a Java SMP that is built to feel like a real Minecraft home and it does not do resets. The whole point is to keep things friendly and chill with no toxicity or drama.
It is still survival at the core and the server tries hard to not feel bloated. A lot of features can be toggled off if you do not like them. They also care a lot about farms and redstone working like the base game.
The server listens to players a lot. There is a suggestions channel and tickets plus feedback forms every two months. They post weekly change logs so you can see what is getting changed. They also run monthly events to bring everyone together.
You can earn ranks based on playtime and unlock perks just by playing. There is a balanced economy and you will see lots of player run shops. There are also small gameplay tweaks to make things nicer and a web map to view the worlds. The server supports 1.21.11.

CozyCove is a survival multiplayer server that is about three weeks old and it feels like a busy little community. It has around 50 members and you will usually see 7 to 10 people online with peak hours hitting 15 to 20.
The server runs a diamond based economy and it uses a player shop plugin so people can trade easier. A bunch of players also do extra services on commission outside the normal shops.
Cheating duping and griefing are not allowed. You can ask questions and you need to get whitelisted by posting your username and saying if you play on Java or Bedrock. There are no plans for a new season anytime soon.

I found DogeM and it is a pure vanilla Java server with a semi anarchy vibe. It is locally hosted in NA and it feels made for friends who want to fight and raid bases.
People team up or go solo and you can PvP in lots of ways even crystal if you grind for it. The world border is 50k so there is a lot of room to explore and you might still find bases to hit or spots to build traps.
There is a strict moderation team and they go after unfair modded clients fast. Admins are usually on every day but they can be chill too. Weekends are the most active and there are around 30 to 50 players on right now.
