Posalon is a Minecraft worldbuilding project where the community builds the history. Everything players do can become part of the lore and get saved in a wiki so it actually matters.
On this server you can get into politics between nations or even try to start your own nation. There is a movecraft plugin so people can design planes tanks and ships and then actually use them in real battles. There is also a brewery plugin so you can just chill and be a bartender if that is your thing.
You can create and spread your own religion and try to get people to believe it. The whole point is to forge your identity claim your place and write your own chapter in the world. The server is not just a normal Minecraft server it is more like a big saga written by the whole community together.

This is a modded SMP called Bagelverse that is running All The Mods 10 and it feels really crazy and fun. It has a mix of tech magic and total chaos so you can build huge power setups or weird labs or just chill on a farm.
The pack is All The Mods 10 version 5.4 on Neoforge 1.21.1 and there are over 450 mods so there is always something new to do. The server gives you useful commands like back home and tpa right away so it is easier to explore and play with friends.
The server is mainly PvE and there is no pay to win which is nice. They only take donations so players feel more equal and it is more about the community and not about buying ranks. People there seem mixed with relaxed farmers plus hardcore factory players so you can pick any style and still fit in.

This server is called Ravencraft and it is a semi vanilla survival world for adults only. It is a multiplayer server where people like to build explore experiment and create stuff together. The difficulty is set to hard so you actually have to try to stay alive.
There is a map that started in December and the world border keeps expanding over time. The staff has worked together for years and they feel like they know what they are doing. The community is focused on building with an overworld road network and a nether tunnel system that keeps growing.
There is a sleep plugin so when more players sleep the night goes by faster. Firespread is turned on so you have to be careful with lava and flint and steel. There is also BlueMap so you can check out the world from a map view.

VIVID SMP is a survival world that is all about getting geared fast and fighting.
The server uses the Strength SMP style plugin so battles feel powerful and crazy. There is full PVP and a 5k by 5k world border so you will run into other players a lot.
It is easier to gear up because there is easy cobweb crafting and easy golden apple crafting. There is also infinite villager trading so you can stack up on good items before fights.
The end fight is on Sunday at 7pm GMT so players can prepare and then battle it out together. There are more fun events planned like a special event for the only mace.
If you join you can get invited to the Discord through the owner and then join the community and events. The whole server is built around PVP and fun fights with fast gearing.

Dogecraft is a chill survival server where builds stay forever. The world does not reset so you can make long term projects and they will actually last. It is focused on PvE and relaxed play with no griefing allowed.
The community has a strong no toxicity rule. People are respectful and the staff works to keep chat calm and friendly. If you just want to build or grind and not deal with drama this server really fits that style.

Apathesia is a non cracked modded server that feels really chill and friendly. It has been running for about two months and already has a regular group of players who just want a few more people to join in.
The server uses mods to make the world generation way better and to add a bunch of quality of life features. There is proximity voice chat too so you can talk to people who are near you in game. Most of the mods are server side so you do not need to download anything to join unless you want to use voice chat on Java.
The community seems relaxed and not super strict. They do not use any microtransactions or crates or gambling stuff. There is no heavy over moderation and the vibe is just generally chill.
