I found a new survival server that lets Java and Bedrock players play together. It is lifesteal so fighting actually matters and you can mess with people a lot.
The world border is huge at 10000 by 10000 so there is room to hide bases and roam. The vibe is basically do whatever you want but there is one big rule. No nukes because it can shut the server down for good.

TeenCraftSMP is a Minecraft server made only for ages 13 to 18. It is built for people who want a big freedom SMP where you can do wild stuff and also play normal if you want.
The only real rule is no cheating. Everything else is mostly up to the players and the choices they make.
It has custom made plugins that add things like setting a home and going back to it. You can also teleport to friends and accept teleport requests. There is a friend group system that can show members on your HUD and it can even add a glow effect if you want.
There is also a custom factions system meant for long term play. You can build up a faction take land start wars and try diplomacy too. It is currently being revised.
The server has full Discord integration so stuff like leaderboards factions plugin features and the economy are synced between Minecraft and Discord.

The vibe is more chill and community based. They want people building houses and towns on the surface instead of everyone hiding in bunkers and acting like it is constant war.

The Pen MC is a classic prison server that is trying to feel like the 2014 era. It is barebones and grindy and it does not hand you overpowered armor. You mine and you smelt ores yourself and you have to walk through pvp zones to sell like the old days.
After you rank up you can prestige and you are not stuck doing only one thing. You can keep grinding the classic mining path or go into a custom fishing system to make money. There is also a mob arena where you fight waves and bosses for rewards and money and shards.
If you want a long grind there is a bakery system where you farm wheat and cocoa then bake cookies with custom mechanics. You can do long term cookie quests and try to compete on leaderboards and turn cookies into higher tier rewards.
It also has guards that enforce contraband rules and illegal crops that are high risk and high reward. You can rent cells and plots and use auction house and bounties and player shops.
