This is an 18 plus Java whitelist SMP that is all about community and chill survival. It was made by the players for the players and it really shows.
The server feels like a Hermitcraft style world. People use a diamond based economy and there is a shopping district where players set up their own shops. There are also public builds and big community projects that everyone can help with.
Most players use proximity chat so talking and hanging out feels really natural. There are homes and some cosmetic and quality of life plugins plus a few fun extras. New plugins only get added by community requests and polls so the players choose what gets added.
The goal of the server is to keep the vanilla Minecraft feeling while still letting the community grow and expand the world together. There are usually a few people on during the day and a pretty active group overall.
It runs on Minecraft 1.21.11 and is Java only. If you like a relaxed adult SMP with a strong community and a mostly vanilla vibe this server is made for that.

Campfire SMP is a small 18 plus Minecraft server that is trying to be a long term home instead of another world that resets after a few weeks.
It is a semi vanilla survival world with a whitelist and no tpa or home commands so you actually travel and explore. There is a diamond based shopping district plus nether highways to get around. People have also started a battle arena and a mini games district so there is more to do than just mine and build.
The server is running on Purpur 1.21.11 and it is self hosted 24 7 in Las Vegas. It uses a few plugins like Dynmap Simple Voice Chat Coreprotect and Discord integration along with data packs like custom armor stands mini blocks player heads and anti enderman griefing. It still feels like normal survival but with some helpful quality of life stuff.
Everyone here is 18 or older and most players are in their 20s or even 30s and 40s. A lot of people hang out in voice chat while they work on projects play other games or just talk. If you want a calm friendly adult community that plans to keep the same world for years this server fits that really well.

This server is called 3b3tpe and it feels like a semi vanilla anarchy world. You join and there are basically no rules and no bans so people can do pretty much whatever they want. It is survival and you have to watch your back because anyone can attack you or raid you.
The server is running version 1.21.8 so it has the latest stuff. It is built to hold up to 100 players and they try to keep it at 20 TPS so it runs smooth. There are custom plugins but the game still feels close to normal Minecraft without a lot of extra crazy features.
There is no TPA and no homes so if you want to go somewhere you have to actually travel. That makes bases more secret and exploring more intense. You can build hidden bases with friends or just go around griefing and fighting near spawn. A lot of the fun is just seeing what other players have done to the world.
The owner says there is an active admin and a small player base so it feels kind of tight and not overcrowded. People can form groups or just play solo and cause chaos. If you like freedom and do not want rules this server is made for that kind of playstyle.

I found this server called Rosedalean SMP and it feels like a chill place for adults who love Minecraft. It is an 18 plus server and you have to apply to get in so they keep trolls and griefers out. The vibe is kind of like Hermitcraft with an enhanced vanilla style and tons of space to build your own base.
The server runs on add ons so you do not need to download a bunch of mods. They use simple voice chat and there are special Terralith biomes so exploring the world looks way cooler. There is also a blue map so you can see how the world is getting explored over time.

This server is called MinecraftOffline and it feels like it is meant for people who just want to relax and play for a long time.
The world is permanent and they say no resets ever so it is good if you like to build big bases and not lose them. It runs on a 1.21.11 version which is pretty new so it has the latest stuff.
The server is hosted in Europe and more exactly in Finland so players from EU should have good connection. The hardware sounds strong with a Xeon processor a lot of RAM and fast SSD storage so it should be stable and not laggy.
The owner uses custom plugins but still keeps the vibe laid back. It feels like a place where you can log in after school or work and just mine build and chill without crazy rules or constant restarts.
