On March 1st, 2024, we launched our 13th Season of the PlanB SMP!
This season, we’re embarking on a unique journey together, one that focuses on creating a closer, more collaborative community. It’s all about teamwork, creativity, and building something awesome together. Our family comes from all over the globe, with each their own specialty and interests. We have redstoners, builders, adventurers, storytellers and more.
What’s New This Season? Strengthening Connections: Season 13 is dedicated to drawing our community closer than ever. We’re crafting a collaborative atmosphere where sharing ideas, working together, and collective growth are at the heart of our experience. Collaborative Quests: Get ready for a series of specially designed quests that encourage collaboration like never before. These challenges are crafted to not only test your skills but to enhance our sense of community. Whether you’re a builder, explorer, or strategist, your talents will play a crucial role in achieving communal success. We feature quality of life data packs and plugins such as: · One person sleeping · Armour Statues · Anti Creeper/Enderman grief · Custom Crafting Tweaks · Mob/Player Heads · Decorative Head Shop · Complete Player Statistics Website · Dynmap· Core Protect · and more.
ORIGIN OF PLAN B
(cause every good server needs an origin story) “That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.”- H.P. Lovecraft..And so may great Minecraft servers, it seems. What seems like forever ago, Lovecraft, a vanilla Minecraft community still early in its existence, disappeared into the void together with its owner. We, a dedicated group of players and friends that played on it, have no clue where it went, but it left us without a home. We decided to not let that setback get to us and to continue its legacy in the form of a new server, where we could continue to express our creativity and unleash our wildest ideas. We decided it was time for PlanB!
THE SERVER(S)
Our humble network of servers boasts game modes and features requested from within the community. Including not only Survival and Creative servers but the occasional Modpack, vanilla Skyblock, games nights on public servers and more. By carefully maintaining our own dedicated hardware exclusive to PlanB, we do not rely on the poorly maintained or oversold shared servers typically used in small communities. Alongside carefully handpicked or custom-written plugins, healthy RAM and CPU allocation, regular backups, and restarts help to ensure we provide the smoothest gameplay we can. RULES
· No Griefing, stealing, or un-invited PVP · No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or verbal abuse · Be polite and treat others as you’d want to be treated · Ask before building near someone · House etiquette: do NOT look through other’s chests without asking, please leave if asked to do so · Keep the environment tidy, no half chopped trees · Reply to this thread, mentioning how you applied · No cheating or hacked clients · No spamming or advertising
