The server has a coin economy that is run by players. You get coins by killing mobs and looting chests then you trade with other players using a trading system and an auction house. There are no admin shops for normal items.
There is also a big land claim system to protect your base and builds from griefing. The twist is if you die your claims get deleted so the land becomes unprotected.
The server says it is non pay to win. It has one VIP rank with cosmetic perks and a revive item that works like a full account reset so you can play again without buying a new account.
